If you require technical support, you can contact LIS Help by:

LIS Help Desk Hours

Temporary hours(effective March 17, 2020)

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM

Hours for the Academic Year (Aug.26, 2019-May 7, 2020)

(special hours may apply during holidays and finals week)

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 AM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM

The information collected on these pages will outline procedures for solving some of the more frequent technical problems that occur. Some of the information will pertain to faculty and staff only. If you are unable to correct your problem you should contact LIS Help directly.

Contacting LIS Help

When contacting LIS Help, please provide as much information as possible. We may ask you to provide the following, depending on the nature of the issue being reported:
  • Your building and room number
  • Your Username and/or ID number
  • The type of PC, Mac, or device you are using
  • The operating system ( Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Mac OS X, etc.)
  • The make and model number of printer
  • The type of audio or visual equipment you are using
  • Any troubleshooting strategies you have already attempted
Note: You should never give your password to anyone, including LIS Help!

Gaming Device in the Residence Halls

Devices that can be Connected to the Westminster College Network:

XBox (older generation)

Playstation (all generations)


Television/Smart TV

Steaming devices (ex. Roku, Apple TV, Fire Stick) *Chromecasts and wireless printers are not supported*

All of the above devices can connect to WC-Public after the device has been registered
